What is Creativity?

Tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that can be used to solve problems that happens to human, it is also about communication with others and entertaining ourselves and other.

Why is Creativity Important?

Allows people to view and solve problems with different ideas and possibilities with innovation and inspiration, it helps with opening the mind and thinking things in different perspectives to create something different and unique.

The Componential Model of Creativity

A comprehensive model of social and psychological components necessary for an individual to produce creative work to solve problems. This theory defines creativity as a production of ideas and how to use the ideas to achieve the goal of finding out a useful solution.

1983: Teresa Amabile published a theory called “the componential model of creativity”.
1988: Amabile published an extension of the theory to include both creativity and innovation.
